Getting Started

Pioneer plan

What Pioneer status means, how to get it during the open beta, and what you'll have access to.

Trailkeep is currently in open beta. Anyone who signs up during the beta period receives permanent Pioneer status — a thank-you for being an early user.

Pioneer is not a trial. It is a permanent tier. You will not move to Free when the beta ends.

The Pioneer badge

A gold badge-check icon displayed next to your username on every shared trip and gear list. Visible to anyone who views your shared content — including people without a Trailkeep account. It appears in the author row on all public shared pages.

How to become a Pioneer

Sign up at trailkeep.com/testing during the open beta. Pioneer status is granted automatically on account creation. No code or purchase required.

Pioneer sign-ups are open now. Once the beta closes, new accounts will start on the Free tier. No deadline has been announced — but there will be one.

The Founder Card (coming later)

After 6–12 months, active Pioneer members who completed at least one trip will receive a physical Founder Card — an exclusive waterproof Safety QR card with your username and founder number, shipped with a thank-you note.

This is not a product for sale. It is a gift to the people who helped build Trailkeep.
